As the Junior Europeans end, the Cadet Europeans get underway in Novi Sad on Thursday 3 March, with Men’s sabre followed by Women’s sabre on Saturday and the team events on Sunday and Monday.
Meanwhile 9 GB women will take to the world stage at the Athens Senior World Cup. 2 of them, fresh from Novi Sad will be making their senior debuts.
On Sunday the women’s team will compete for the first time with the fees paid from your generous donations to The Sabre Club Charitable Foundation in response to the recent fundraising campaign. The total raised so far is enough to cover a couple of team entries but much more is still needed so please follow this link to donate.
The GB senior men will not be competing this week due to Padua Senior World Cup being cancelled.
On the home front there is, across the weekend, The Lancaster University Spring Open, The Devon Senior Sabre and British Youth Championship Qualifier events for West Midlands, South West and also East Midlands.
