If you are at school, a teacher, a pupil, a coach or a parent then this is a good place to start if you want to widen your experience of sabre fencing and enjoyment of the sport.
Understanding what is going on and where you can go is at least half the battle and we try to make everything as accessible as possible.
There are a few common questions that we have tried to answer below. The questions are cascaded.
Where can I find information relevant to me?
Fencing is organised mostly be age groups so we have pages and calendars specific to those age groups.
What are the age groups?
Where do I find relevant competitions, courses, camps etc?
Each age group page has its own calendar with events specific to that age group (including relevant lower age groups where we think that is useful. You can subscribe to your calendar to get updates so you don’t have to keep coming back to search for new entries.
Can I see all the events that are happening in one place?
The Calendar page shows you all the events across age groups as far as we are aware of them. These include all age groups and all types of events with links to how to enter or sign up to them.
Do leave feedback if you have a question and want us to add detail.
What if I have another question?
Just hit the feedback button and write to us. You don’t have to include your email but it would be helpful so we can clarify what you want added. You can also just ask questions if you want and we’ll try our best to answer them.
Can I see how my school ranks against others?
We maintain our own club rankings which show how the clubs compare across open competitions at U17 and U20 level. This includes school clubs where the fencers enter under the school.
The rankings can be found on the Clubs page
